Allison’s career began in the USA in 2001 before embarking on a transformative journey across the globe in 2007, with particular focus on remote, community and humanitarian work. She has since collaborated with many First Nations communities across the Asia-Pacific region, including Northern Territory, Southwest Victoria, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, New Zealand, Queensland, and Western Australia. Allison also worked as a volunteer architect with The Anganwadi Project in India delivering the first Harivillu in 2019.
Her experience spans commercial, hospitality, education, justice, and remote community, health, and social housing sectors, through to high-end residential projects. Allison’s roles have included project lead, design architect, and engagement lead. She is highly skilled in community engagement and guiding complex projects from conceptualisation through to end of construction. Allison has been an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects, serving as a Northern Territory juror in 2018, Queensland state awards juror in 2024, and as co-chair of the Queensland state jury for the 2025 national awards program. She is known as a highly skilled communicator and inspirational team leader. Allison brings positive energy to all her endeavours and continues to demonstrate her lifelong commitment to empowering the next generation through teaching, mentoring, coaching, and youth outreach.
