Remote Womens Shelter

Between 2017-2018 we worked closely with an Indigenous community women's group, Aboriginal Land Council and state government departments to develop a domestic and family violence shelter in a remote Queensland community. POD provided principal consultant design services incorporating masterplanning, architecture and landscape design. Specific responses to cultural imperatives were developed during design workshops with the women's group. (location withheld- secure facility).
